| The Gretsch Duo Jet is a semi-solid body electric guitar manufactured by Gretsch since the mid 1950s. The most famous example of this DuoJet was played by George Harrison during the Beatles' early days in Hamburg, and first few albums. In fact, he used that exact guitar on the cover for his 1987 "come back" masterpiece, Cloud Nine. | To make the Power Jet more appealing to todays players, Gretsch made several improvements to the classic Duo Jet design. | The Country Club was in many ways Gretsch's most traditional guitar. Although they are not as avidly sought as White Falcons and 6120s, they are also among the company's best.
