Designed with the serious bass player in mind and with the full benefit of Marshall's insight gained from years of valve experience. The VBA400 has the massive tonal power of eight 6550

power valves, plus three ECC83 and one ECC82 pre-amp valves. Front-panel controls have been minimized for simplicity, but the three-band passive EQ offers the player plenty of scope for tonal adjustment, particularly when reconfigured using the three-position Contour control. Another very useful feature is the 'Tuner Mute" facility which mutes the signal both to the loudspeakers and to the DI for silent tuning between songs.
