The V-1 Custom FR has a decent solid basswood body and strung thru setup to supply great sustain and a rich complex tone. Schecter's V-1 Custom has two Duncan Designed humbucker pickups, which can give a real deep heavy growl on the bridge when going through a high gain amp but flicking it to the neck pickup smoothens up the tone and offers a very usable contrasting lead guitar sound.
